Rev. Larry Wynn

Larry Wynn is best known as a preacher in the Georgia Baptist Convention, having spent more than 30 years growing Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia.  He recently retired as the Executive Vice President of Evangelism and Church Revitalization for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board.


A native of the state of Georgia, Larry and his wife, Ethel, raised three children to adulthood in metro-Atlanta and have been serving the greater Gwinnett community for most of their lives.


Since 2012, Larry has also developed as an accomplished hobbyist photographer with specialties in nature, sports and still life. 

Rev. Steve Parr

Steve Parr currently serves as the Director at Gwinnett Metro Baptist Association. Parr began in March 1998 with the Georgia Baptist Convention (now Georgia Baptist Mission Board) as a consultant in Bible Study Ministries before becoming a specialist in Sunday School & Open Group Ministries in 2000. In 2006 he stepped into the role of vice president of Sunday School & Evangelism, then was named vice president for Staff Coordination and Development in 2012. His most recent title change to chief strategist came early last year. 


Prior to joining the state convention Parr was on staff at Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula. He has also been an adjunct professor for New Orleans Seminary.


Parr is the author of the series “Sunday School That Really Works” and co-author of “Why They Stay,” which explores keeping young people in church. His most recent book is “The Coffee Shop That Changed a Church.”

Rev. Thomas Hammond

Thomas Hammond currently serves as the Executive Director of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. Before taking this position, he pastored First Baptist Church of Alpharetta.

Hammond has served the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee as the Vice President for Convention Advancement and Senior Director of Church Evangelism for the North American Mission Board. At NAMB Hammond supervised teams for Personal Evangelism, Event Evangelism, Prayer Evangelism, and Student Evangelism.

Additionally, Hammond has served as a director of missions, minister of evangelism at Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, and evangelism associate for the Ohio Baptist Convention.

Hammond is a graduate of Augusta State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has a Master of Divinity from Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis.

Thomas is married to Kerri (Russ) and the Hammonds have two adult daughters.
