God created you to know Him, but our sin separates us from a perfect relationship with Him. Romans 6:23 tells us that "the wages of sin is death BUT the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect life, died, and was resurrected so we could have a relationship with Him. Salvation doesn't come through good works or even church attendance; salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone, and your relationship with Him can start today. Simply admit that you have fallen short of God's holy standard, believe that Jesus came and died for your sins, and commit your life to following Him as the Lord of your life
We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has accepted Christ as his or her Savior. Still, you may have questions. Why is it an act of obedience? Is it required of everyone? If I've been baptized before, do I need to do it again?
If you have any of these questions, take a look at our BAPTISM GUIDE.
If you're ready to take the next step toward baptism, please fill out the form below and allow 2 days for our office to confirm your inquiry.
Becoming a member of Concord has 3 steps:
1. Walk forward for membership during invitation in a Sunday worship service.
A person may offer himself or herself as a candidate for membership in this Church at any regular worship service or privately to the pastor and complete both the following requirements:
Make a public profession of faith and be baptized according to the doctrine of this Church OR upon a statement of a prior conversion experience and baptism by immersion
2. Attend a Starting Point
Multiple times a year we offer a membership orientation class we call Starting Point. This is where you can get started learning about our church, our mission, and our vision, and how you can become a member. Starting Point usually lasts less than one hour and is easily accessible via Zoom.
Sign up for our next Starting Point!
3. Sign the Church Covenant
It is our desire that every person at Concord to be plugged into a Sunday morning Community Group. Community Groups offer a place to connect with people in your age bracket and similar life situations, gives opportunity to make connections with those in the body as you spend time studying God’s Word together, and also provides opportunities to reach out to others to be a part of a group.
